DIGITAL REFERENCE TOOL FOR CARTOGRAPHERS (DRTc)

The Korea Hydrographic & Oceanographic Agency (KHOA) has developed and made available a software application (tool) intended to help cartographers search and access related contents in various IHO publications.

This free application, which is intended to run on a Windows operating system, may be downloaded here. (ZIP file - 53 MB).

The application integrates content from the following IHO publications:

  • S-57 IHO Transfer Standard for Digital Hydrographic Data, Appendix B.1, Annex A - Use of the Object Catalogue for ENC - UOC.
  • S-4 Regulations for International (INT) Charts and Chart Specifications of the IHO (English, French and Korean)).
  • S-32 Hydrographic Dictionary - Part I Volume I, English .
  • S-32 App 1 Hydrographic Dictionary - Glossary of ECDIS Terms.

Please note: user of this application are advised to check (the IHO web site) to ensure that that editions of the document listed above have not been superseded.

L’Administration hydrographique et océanographique coréenne (KHOA) a développé et mis à disposition une application numérique (outil) destinée à faciliter la recherche et l’accès des cartographes aux documents connexes dans diverses publications de l’OHI.

Cette application gratuite qui est destinée à fonctionner sur un système d’exploitation Windows, peut être téléchargée ici. (fichier ZIP – 40 MB).

L’application intègre le contenu des publications suivantes de l’OHI :

  • S-57 - Norme de transfert de l’OHI pour les données hydrographiques numériques, novembre 2000 – Document principal – Appendice B.1, Annexe A – Utilisation du Catalogue d’objets pour les ENC – UOC (Ed. 4.0.0 fev. 2014).
  • S-4 – Règlement de l’OHI pour les cartes internationales (INT) et spécifications de l’OHI pour les cartes marines (anglais : édition 4.5.0, oct. 2014).
  • S-32 – Dictionnaire hydrographique – Partie 1, Volume 1, anglais (CINQUIEME EDITION, 1994).
    S-32 App. 1 Dictionnaire hydrographique – Glossaire des termes relatifs aux ECDIS.

Veuillez noter qu’il est conseillé aux utilisateurs de cette application de vérifier (site web de l'OHI) et de s’assurer que les éditions du document listées ci-dessus n’ont pas été remplacées.
