Objectives:
Considering the need to provide an internationally coordinated network of broadcasts containing information which is necessary for safe navigation at sea, the International Hydrographic Organization established a Sub-Committee on the World-Wide Navigational Warning Service (WWNWS-SC). A primary objective of the Sub-Committee is to monitor and guide the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO)/ International Maritime Organization (IMO) World Wide Navigational Warning Service (WWNWS) which includes NAVAREA and coastal warnings. |
Objectifs:
Compte tenu de la nécessité d'établir, à l'échelon international, un réseau coordonné de diffusions contenant les informations nécessaires à la sécurité de la navigation maritime, l'Organisation hydrographique internationale a créé un sous-comité sur le service mondial d'avertissements de navigation (WWNWS-SC). Un des objectifs principaux du sous-comité est de suivre et guider les travaux du Service mondial d'avertissements de navigation (WWNWS) de l'Organisation hydrographique internationale (OHI)/Organisation maritime internationale (OMI) qui comprend les avertissements NAVAREA et côtiers. |

Cooperation:
JCOMM: The Joint WMO-IOC Commission for Oceanography and Marine Meteorology (JCOMM) with whom WWNWS-SC cooperates closely have established a "JCOMM WWMIWS GMDSS web site" providing information on METAREAs, which are aligned with NAVAREAs, in particular meteocean MSI in real time. |
Coopération:
CMOM: La Commission technique mixte OMM-COI d'Océanographie et de Météorologie Marine (CMOM), avec laquelle le WWNWS-SC coopère étroitement, a mis en place
"le site internet SMDSM de la CMOM", qui fournit des informations sur les METAREA, zones coïncidant avec les NAVAREA, en particulier les informations de RSM météo-océanographiques en temps réel. |
